Love for all
Greetings beautiful people, I want to thank each and
everyone of you for loving and appreciating the blog posts. I’m really grateful
and your love means the world to me. If you haven’t read the previous blog
posts, do read them after you are done reading this.
Love has never been the way as it is today. In India it has
been through a lot of struggle and the Article 377 was finally over and done on
the 6th of September the previous year. This was not just a
historical win for homosexuality, love won that very day.
The very concept of ‘criminalizing homosexuality’ is such a
shame. Every person has the right to express their love for an individual be it
from the same sex or the other. Ironically, the British who had implemented
this very article in India have way back decriminalized homosexuality. I am so
proud that people did not shy away from hiding their sexuality and came forward
to express their love be it on social media or even the various pride walks
held across the country.
I would like to quote Ms. Tammy Baldwin from her ‘Never
Doubt’ speech at the Millennium March of Equality where she addressed “ There
will not be a magic day when we wake up and its now okay to express ourselves
publicly. We make that day by doing things publicly until its simply the way
things are.”
This touched my heart and this is the way it should have
always been. It is okay to not get attracted towards the opposite sex, it is
okay to selflessly love a person from the same sex. At the end of the day, its
love what matters and there is absolutely no one stopping you from feeling and
expressing your love.
As it is June and we also recognize it as the Pride month, I have come up with a look to celebrate and support the LBGT community. For this look, I have paired a vertical striped shirt having the pride colors with blue chinos and completing the look with white sneakers for a slightly casual vibe.

I went for a brown leather strapped watch and black shades for the accessories, keeping it simple yet elegant.
